Don't I look like a pro??We're staying in a little park called Walnut RV Park in the middle of 'downtown' Vega. It's right off of I40W and if you blink you'll miss it. The town is very small, tired and drab, but I wouldn't want to miss it. That's what this trip is all about...seeing all kinds of America! We took a walk down the main drag and found a little Mexican restaurant that looks promising...it actually looked pretty cute inside...opens at 5:00. On our walk we also saw a little farm museum...nobody there but the gate was open and the sign said to come on in..so we did!

Doesn't Ed look like he belongs in that era??We arrived here around 2:30...so Ed can watch all three baseball games...gotta love it. I love this pace...take our time, stop when we want...doesn't get better than this!
Another 240 miles tomorrow to Albuquerque and the balloon fiesta...can't wait! Already talked to a couple we met in FL and they've been there for a week already and waiting to meet up with us. They've crewed several times already...we're hoping we'll be able to crew too! We also want to visit Sante Fe, Taos, and the city of Albuquerque while we're there.

I am so glad that you are having a good time already!! I don't know about that restraunt though.......be careful, you may have to spend a few extra days there if neither of you can drive because your tummies are upset....you havn't taught Emma how to drive yet, have you? Your driving more, so there can't be a concussion from yoiur mishap the other day, glad that your better!
